Cafe Ngoma Awards: Vote for your favourite artist and get your advance tickets now

Cafe Ngoma Awards is an initiative that seeks to celebrate musicians, businesses, and personalities within the alternative space.

Currently, in our fourth year, the inaugural edition was held on December 16, 2017, at Brookhouse International School, attracting about 11,000 votes within three weeks, awarding 20 winners from 80 nominees within 16 categories, including four honorary awards.

The inaugural edition
was an invite-only affair covering 400 people so as to manage the overwhelming
surge realized on the voting platform.

The awards are
conducted annually by Café Ngoma which is a media and entertainment company
that promotes alternative content from Africa and the rest of the world,
primarily Music.

During its third
edition, the awards introduced two new categories, bring total to 22, including
that of a national hero.
